Anyone know of a home based business review site that is reputable?

home based business
jldude asked:

I’m looking for like a public, reputable published review of the biggest home based businesses. Something like wall street journal or money magazine or something that I know isn’t biased or sponsored by some business featured.

I would say the best place to go would be the DSA, Direct Seller’s Association. They are unbiased and you could probably find everything you need there.
Incidently, the company I am with was just named the number one company in the DSA, so we’re very proud of that.

    Hi,

Go to and take a look at this site. There is an online video that will give you benchmarks for evaluating MLMs or Network Marketing companies.

If you have problems finding the video link, give me a reply and I will send you a link.

Search franchise sites and Entrepreneur.com. Do a search for work at home mom sites. Join the forum and ask about a business before you join. You are likely to get a lot of opinions, which is good.

Most of the published reviews online are biased as they are paid for by advertisers. As the first poster suggested, the DSA can provide you with a listing of direct sales companies, but this does not encompass all legitimate and successful home businesses. You should first identify what you are really looking for, seek out opportunities that meet yoru criteria, and then thoroughly research and ask questions before making any commitments.

I recommend you do a little research with the Business Opportunity Search Engine

Being community driven it’s a cross between a search engine and a Wikipedia. You can add, delete and improve the results for much more focused answers than a general search engine can provide.
